Schmooze Coffee is founded by Kate and Neal Daniels, a husband-and-wife duo in Los Angeles with a passion for great coffee and a knack for bringing people together.​

Neal, originally from Chicago, is a seasoned touring drummer who has played all over the globe with several major artists. For Neal, the best part of life on the road isn't just the music, it’s waking up in a new city and finding the best local cup of coffee.  It's this passion for exploring new places and new brews that led to the idea of Schmooze Coffee. ​

Kate, originally from Australia, is the creative force behind Schmooze. In addition, she’s also a highly successful real estate agent in Los Angeles, known for her keen eye for detail and a proven track record of delivering top-tier results. Her unique blend of marketing savvy and coffee craftsmanship ensures every cup of Schmooze is a reflection of excellence and passion. Having been surrounded by world-class (the best) coffee since she was young, Kate’s appreciation for a perfect cup runs deep.

The name Schmooze is a tribute to Neal’s dad, who was the ultimate schmoozer: the life of the party with an infectious energy and a knack for making amazing coffee. Neal’s dad passed away at a young age, but his spirit lives on through the brand. Our "icon," a cartoon drawing of him, is lovingly named Ardy. A nod to the man who showed us that great conversation and great coffee go hand in hand.
